Self-Struggle: The Greatest Battle That Gives Meaning to Life
"It is very important to fight— with oneself, with struggles, with time, and with reality."

Human life is not merely a smooth journey of happiness; rather, it is a continuous process shaped by struggles. From birth to death, a person fights many kinds of battles—some external and some deeply internal. In truth, the hardest and most necessary battle is the one a person fights with himself. This inner struggle gives identity, direction, and meaning to one’s existence.
Symbolically, a human being is like a traveler walking on unknown paths, constantly facing time, circumstances, and reality. External struggles—such as financial problems, social pressure, and failures—are visible, but inner struggles are more subtle and deeper. Fighting one’s fears, doubts, insecurities, and weaknesses is the true mark of courage. Until a person understands himself, he cannot truly adjust or fit into any situation.
Struggling with reality means accepting the truth. Often, people want to live in imagination, but life is tested only by reality. Reality may be harsh or disappointing at times, yet it is what makes us strong. Those who face situations instead of running away from them grow mature with time. Time itself is a teacher—it teaches us that after every darkness there is light, and within every defeat there is a lesson.
To adjust in any situation, a person must be strong from within. External resources and support may be limited, but inner strength has no limits. Self-confidence is the power that helps a broken mind stand up again. This confidence does not come only from success; it is born by accepting failures and learning from them. When a person learns to trust himself, difficulties begin to look smaller on their own.
Human creativity also arises from struggle. Pain, suffering, and challenges inspire a person to think, to create, and to search for new paths. History proves that great ideas, literature, art, and philosophy are born only after passing through the fire of struggle. Therefore, struggle should not be seen as a curse, but as an opportunity.
In the end, fighting is an essential condition of life—but this fight should be for creation, not destruction. Fighting with oneself to become better, fighting with reality to accept the truth, and fighting with time to learn patience—this is the true victory of life. One who understands this struggle truly knows how to live.
